Rodolphe Cattin has decided to leave the Franck Muller Group by quiting all the operational activities at the end of October. Hm… you don’t know him? you don’t know Rodolphe Cattin, the fouder of the Rodolphe Montres & Bijoux watch company and of the Rodolphe & Co design studio? In my memory, like an extension of his personality, a rich medley of forms, materials, colors and watch complications is synthesized in each Rodolphe timepiece to create a unique and avant-garde character. Rodolphe Cattin, an inspired, creative and indefatigable worker, draws upon his deepest emotions to design and create new and original models.

In his quiting comments, Rodolphe regards his leaving as a mixture of sadness and relief because he no longer feel that the group has any wish to develop the brand “Rodolphe”, which is the same with all the other ’small’ brands within the Franck Muller group.Due to this disappointing truth, the Rodolophe brand no longer benefits from an environment conducive to its healthy development. He thinks that the last two years’association is a troubled period but the concept developed and the aesthetic work undertaken by the teams that have supported him are comforting and satisfying.

While remaining a minority shareholder in the two Rodolphe Montres & Bijoux and Rodolphe & Co companies, Rodolphe comfirms his determination for quiting-”My professional path is parting ways with the Franck Muller group at the end of the month”. But he also claims that he still maintain his creative soul and entrepreneurial spirit,so we have no need to be pitiful for the chance to see a new fascinating watch labeled “Rodolphe”.
