Candy watch, I think, is the best description for the de GRISOGONO’s INSTRUMENTO TONDO RMS58. This new watch design takes inspiration from the fashionable “brown trend”, and the warm brown tones makes the most notable feature, and turns the new watch into something just like a kind of chocolate caramel. It seems that the new shiny diamond watch suits to be introduced in food program on TV.

The subtle play of an oval within an oval gives de GRISOGONO’s INSTRUMENTO TONDO its unique visual fascination. The first oval is the case’s, arrayed horizontally from 3 to 9 o’clock. The second, on the dial, stretches vertically between 6 and 12 o’clock. Their graceful curves add a measure of poise and panache to a design notable for its sport-spirited urbanity.

The original INSTRUMENTO TONDO.

Like earlier de GRISOGONO designs, the INSTRUMENTO TONDO case houses a sophisticated watch movement incorporating various practical complications. Aling with a display of the hours and munutes, its selfwinding mechanical movement features an auxiliary subassembly providing both a twin 24-hour time-zone and a power reserve indication.

The new model features a 18k pink gold dial, markers and hands, offering a outstanding readability. 94 brown diamonds and orange sapphire on the bezel and lugs (almost 7.5 carats of jewels) demonstrate the warm brown tones. Although the brand is Swiss-based, the novel design comfirms a bold yet refined Italian style. 18k browny brown gold is the name of the gold the new watch case and strap use. Maybe it is the worst name for gold, but it really matches the fashionable trend well. And don’t forget the big black diamond set in the crown, a fancy touch.

As a truly striking integration of jewels and timepiece, the de GRISOGONO’s INSTRUMENTO TONDO RMS58 is certainly going to be of a high price.
