For the year of 2010, Chopard has released the Mille Miglia watch 2010, a new addition to its iconic sports collection. It reveals a striking union of the powerful design and outstanding technical characteristics.

Signature Mille Miglia Arrow
The Chopard Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono 2010 model comes with a 18K rose gold case with a diameter of 44mm. The rhodium-gray engine-turned dial is completed with the elongated numerals, reminiscent of vintage sports car dashboards. The minute circle has been created in black and red, which is the color of the famous Silverstone race sponsored by the brand for over 20 years. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal is used to protect the dial. Other features includes a bezel with a tachometric scale, a screw-lock crown featuring the signature Mille Miglia arrow, broad chronograph pushers as well as water-resistance to 100 meters.

On the sapphire crystal case-back is a translucent black PVD limited edition inscription suggested by the race numbers of the cars participating in the rally. The tranparent case-back reveals a direct view to the mechanical self-winding movement. It beats at 28,800 vph (4Hz), and provides a 48-hour power reserve. This 25-jewel movement bears the COSC-chronometer certification. With this powerful heart, the Mille Miglia GT XL Chrono 2010 watch unites an impressive range of functions – hour, minute, date, small seconds, as well as the chronograph presented via a central seconds hand, and 30-minute and 12-hour counters. Moreover, a stop seconds mechanism is incorporated in the timepiece for time-setting to the nearest second.
The new watch is finished with a natural rubber Dunlop Racing strap, inspired by the 1960s racing tires. It is coupled with a folding clasp crafted in 18-carat rose gold.
